MSA Survey

Dear Parents,

ISG is in the midst of a self-assessment process that includes feedback and input from the full school community including students, their families, teachers and ISG faculty members.  As a result, we ask that you complete the following survey to help us in this process. This survey is different from the one shared with you before the break.  While the survey will remain anonymous, we ask that you sign in to complete the form using your personal email and NOT an ISG school affiliated address, to ensure everything runs smoothly.  The results of the survey will also be provided to a team that will visit ISG and your specific ISG school, to validate the self-assessment ISG will complete.  The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. There are a number of multiple choice questions and the survey ends with three narrative questions where you are encouraged to share written comments.  The survey will close December 3.  The link to the form can be found here.

This week, six US universities located in the Education City of Doha, Qatar, presented to high school students from ASD, ISG Dammam and ISG Jubail.  These universities included Weill Cornell, Georgetown, Virginia Commonwealth, Texas A&M, Northwestern and Carnegie Mellon.  The event began with a group presentation followed by a university fair. Students had the opportunity to visit each university’s table and learn about their admissions requirements, scholarship opportunities and the specific programs offered.  These university and college fairs are part of the ISG College Preparatory Program offered at each of our schools.

ASD and BSD will be hosting two Open House events this month for prospective students and their parents.

Families will attend an admissions presentation, learn more about our curriculum and programs and tour our campus.  They will also have the chance to meet our administrators, counselors and admissions team to learn about each school's programs, athletics, activities and admissions process.  Please share this information with friends and family and remind them to use the links above to register.

I would like to remind you that November 16 is a scheduled day off for all students.  This day will be a teacher workday, with all teachers and staff attending ISG Learns.  ISG Learns is a district-wide event organized by the ISG Teaching and Learning Office where staff and teachers from all our schools attend a full day of workshops, training and professional development.  Classes will resume for all students on November 19.

Best wishes,

Michael P. Mack
