The ISG University Preparatory Program provides our high school students with several services as they begin to prepare for college or university:
- One-on-one counseling.
- College counseling along with supporting resources and references.
- College and university representative visits that explain the process of applying to US, UK, Canadian and Saudi universities.
- Virtual university presentations.
- Scholarship information.
- Alumni success story highlights.
As we work to expand our program, I encourage you to attend the different events organized by your child's counselors.
ISG Jubail and ISG Dammam welcomed parents back to school in several events this week. At ISG Jubail, parents followed an adjusted version of their children’s schedules and experienced what a typical day looked like. At ISG Dammam, parents met with their teachers and learned about the curriculum and the expectations for each class. Please watch recap videos of the events below:
In celebration of Saudi National Day our schools have organized a variety of activities on each campus. Please encourage your children to wear green next week. Reminder: Schools will be closed September 24, 2023. Classes will resume on September 25.
October 3, 2023 is a scheduled Virtual School Day across ISG. ISG operates a virtual school day each year to be prepared for any event that would require us to conduct our learning online (rain days, sand storms, etc.). This allows our students to become familiar with the platforms and provides our teachers with the opportunity to practice and hone their skills on this approach to learning. Students will not come to school on this day. Instead, they will participate in an adjusted schedule attending classes and completing both synchronous and asynchronous assignments online. More detailed information for students and parents will be shared by each school in the coming weeks. Students will go back to their regular, in person learning on October 4.
