Dear Parents,
I am pleased to inform you that all ISG Schools are now members of the Council of International Schools (CIS). Council of International Schools is a membership community working collaboratively to shape international education through professional services to schools, higher education institutions and individuals. The CIS vision is to inspire the development of global citizens through high quality international education: connecting ideas, cultures and educators from every corner of the world.
On May 19, ASD hosted the U14 Boys & Girls May Madness Basketball Tournament. This was the first U14 basketball tournament of the 2023 school year. Riyadh Golden Sports Academy (club), Basketin (club), BSD (ISG) and Saudi Elite (Dhahran Aramco) joined ASD in what was described as one of the most competitive U14 basketball tournaments in some time. As there were many close games, Basketin boys took the gold, ASD (A team) took silver, and Saudi Elite took bronze. For the U14 Girls, Riyadh Golden Sports Academy took the gold, Basketin took silver and ASD (A team) took bronze. We are very proud of our athletes and look forward to more competitions that bring our teams opportunities to challenge themselves and improve their skills. Thanks to all our basketball coaches for their time and dedication: Corey Edmondson, Shekhah Abdulraheem, Zaina Jreije, Rufino Mabborang, Lawrence Olive, Nourhan Arnaoot and Franco Gerber.
